Executed the development of a digital customer and merchant experience for a new eCommerce division, utilizing strategic design. Collaborated seamlessly across all phases, ensuring a customer-centric approach. Conducted data analysis, delivering key design elements aligned with UX best practices. Implemented a successful pilot, showcasing adaptability. Managed multi-level proofs of concept (POCs) to validate and optimize aspects of the digital experience.

  • Optimized customers’ web experience by implementing the following designs and related strategies for

  1. Redesigned the search engine to categorize the results according to the types of information, and to separate the video contents from texts, thereby establishing a new design system for search results

  2. Coordinated user experience research to plan and design new functions of the payment system and product information page

  • Increased the overall efficiency of the designing process by effectively communicating the needs between designers, developers, and product owners

  • Provided essential support for multiple project teams (payment team, product detail team, search results team, redesign application pages team) as a fast learner

2017 - 2020

  • Promoted to the lead position newly created by Canada Computers in recognition of outstanding leadership skills, and directed both local and international design teams

  • Managed a team of 5 designers and 4 developers, coordinated their tasks to successfully complete macro projects, and led various projects to redesign and rebuild the main website to enhance UI/UX functions

  • Acted as a main point of contact for over 500 venders and coordinators (i.e. INTEL, SAMSUNG, MSI, ASUS) provided consultation for optimization of their microsites under Canada Computer’s website to meet online sales goals and to increase sales traffic

  • Re-designed the existing Canada Computers website to improve accessibility and usability, and overall user traffic as well as sales increased as a result by 150% during early COVID-19 period
